The Detroit Lions also clinched the NFC North with a win against the Minnesota Vikings but the Seattle Seahawks’ late win over the Tennessee Titans kept their season alive

Quarterback Joe Flacco completed his stunning late-career comeback in the NFL, leading the Cleveland Browns to their third straight victory  36-22 over the Houston Texans

Miami becomes the AFC’s second playoff club, following the Baltimore Ravens, but they were pushed to the verge by Dallas and quarterback Dak Prescott

Dallas took the lead with a score with 3:27 left in the game after Prescott led an incredible 17-play, 69-yard drive that concluded in a stunning touchdown catch in the corner under strong pressure from Brandin Cooks

Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, on the other hand, reacted in kind, precisely managing the clock as he drove Miami down the field with a 64-yard, 12-play drive to set up Sanders

Sanders, who hit all five of his – goal attempts, including three from 50 yards or more made no mistake from 29 yards to secure a critical victory over a Dallas team that had already clinched a berth in the NFC playoffs

Meanwhile, the Indianapolis Colts’ playoff aspirations were dashed with a 29-10 loss to the Atlanta Falcons
