Unfortunately, because of his incapacity to…, the Vikings Head Couch has been suspended.

A former Minnesota Vikings safety has been suspended for three games for substance misuse before he could play for his new team.
It appeared for a while that the Minnesota Vikings were slowing down safety Jayron Kearse’s development. For four seasons, he was an invaluable member of the squad thanks to his superb work on special teams and his ability to step in when necessary.

But after the 2019 NFL season, Kearse became a free agent and signed with the Detroit Lions, a rival team in the division. Despite adding a good player, the Honolulu blue will be without him for his first three games in the Motor City.

Tim Twentyman, a senior writer for the Detroit Lions and an insider, tweeted that Kearse will get a three-game suspension for breaking the league’s drug usage policy and program.

The 26-year-old safety will have a better chance of having a bigger role in Detroit when his suspension ends. Had he stayed in Minnesota, He would have been struggling for a role on defense behind superstar safety Harrison Smith and the surging Anthony Harris.

Sadly, with the lack of preseason games and limited offseason activities, it could once again be hard for Jayron Kearse to make a name for himself with the Lions. He will need to really wow Detroit’s staff in a limited amount of time.

Kearse will not miss a head-to-head meeting between the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions this season. Their first meeting will take place in Week 9 in Minneapolis while the purple and gold will hit the road for their second clash in the regular-season finale.

As usual, The Viking Age wishes nothing but the best for their current and former players and staff. Hopefully, Jayron Kearse can bounce back from this suspension and enjoy a long and rewarding career.
