A 21-year-old midfielder has signed with Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest have agreed to sign Jonjo Shelvey from Newcastle, making him the club’s fourth signing this window and the 25th for the first team this season.

The club, in its first season back from the English lower divisions, has done everything in their power to ensure that they stay in the Premier League for at least another season by signing an entire team in two transfer windows since being promoted.

These investments appear to have paid off, as Forest has risen to 13th in the league table, only eight points behind Liverpool and Chelsea, who are currently ninth and tenth, respectively.

Shelvey must relocate after falling out of favor.
Shelvey is their most recent acquisition, and they will be hoping he can replicate his performances for Newcastle since joining them from Liverpool.

Shelvey will be eager to leave Newcastle after falling down the pecking order as a result of the summer arrival of Bruno Guimares, as well as a lengthy injury layoff.

The English midfielder has only made three Premier League appearances for the Magpies this season and has played a total of 122 minutes in all competitions.

He will hope that a move to Nottingham Forest can earn him some much-needed game time and revitalise his career.
