Done deal; Nottingham Forest have accepted a bid from a Brazilian club for their 29-year-old player.

Internacional now believes they will beat Nottingham Forest to sign Gustavo Scarpa in January.

The Reds loaned out the Brazilian player over the summer, but he has yet to make an impact at Olympiacos.

Scarpa joined Forest in the January 2023 transfer window, but he struggled to make an impact at the City Ground.

He only appeared in 10 games for the Reds and did not score a single goal.

Scarpa was praised by Ian Wright after his performance in last season’s 2-0 win over Leicester.

Scarpa is now being pursued by Internacional.
According to reports, Internacional are now more confident in their ability to sign Scarpa from Forest.

According to Jorge Nicola on YouTube, the Brazilian team is expected to get their man after another offer.

Internacional’s previous attempts to sign the player were unsuccessful, but they now have renewed hope.

Forest is believed to have accepted a £3.5 million offer, and Internacional will now have to negotiate personal terms.

When it came to performing in the Premier League, the 29-year-old simply lacked that extra bit of quality.

For a long time, it was claimed that a number of Brazilian clubs were keeping tabs on him, but some clubs have dropped out of the race.

According to Vamo Sao Paulo, there is no way they will be able to land Scarpa from Forest when the window reopens.

The £35,000-a-week wage he earns has deterred many clubs in his homeland from pursuing him.

Scarpa hasn’t given Forest his all during his time at the City Ground, and selling him now appears to be the only option.

The Forest fans will send their best wishes to the attacker, but things haven’t gone well for him in Europe.
