Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers throws for a career-high 322 yards in a win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw for 322 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-20 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. In the fourth quarter, he threw the game-winning 24-yard touchdown pass to Romeo Doubs for Green Bay.
Love also completed 27-of-40 passes in this game, and Doubs caught five passes for 53 yards and a touchdown. Jordan Love made significant progress for the second game in a row. This season, Love’s passer rating when targeting Doubs is 97.2.
Jordan Love completed 21-of-40 passes for 289 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions the week before against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has completed 59.7% of his passes for 2,331 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions so far this season.
Love has also rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns on 34 attempts. He’s gaining 5.4 yards per carry.
Jordan Love also threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Christian Watson in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Green Bay’s Watson only caught two passes for 21 yards and one touchdown on the day.
Christian Watson has had a difficult second season with the Packers. There hasn’t been any chemistry between Love and him. On Sunday, they both scored touchdowns, which surprised everyone. This season, Love’s passer rating when targeting Watson is 45.5.
When Love has been targeted, he has only thrown two touchdowns and five interceptions this season. He has 14 touchdowns and five interceptions when targeting Dontayvion Wicks, Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, or anyone else.

It was fantastic that Love was able to set a career high in passing yards against the NFL’s second-worst defense entering Sunday. Love must replicate his performance from Sunday on a short week on the road against a divisional rival. Love completed 23-of-36 passes for 246 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions against Detroit earlier this season.
If he can play well for the third straight game against a quality opponent, the Packers may have something with Jordan Love. The Packers currently hold the ninth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. They could construct a future around Love. His first-half slumps appear to be over, but only time will tell.
