Saints reportedly ‘chasing’ Man City defender on loan in League One
So far this season, the 19-year-old has made six league appearances while on loan at League One team Peterborough United.
In September, he scored his first goal as a senior for Peterborough in their 2-0 EFL Trophy victory over Cambridge United.
After demonstrating his abilities as a defender, Katongo is now being tested in the midfield. This versatility would probably be advantageous to any team that wanted to sign him.
The defender is on loan at the Posh until the end of the season, and The Sun reports that Southampton is interested in him.
