LATEST NEWS UPDATE: Steve Cooper says the 23-year-old Nottingham Forest player won’t be ready for today’s match against West Ham.

Steve Cooper, the manager of Nottingham Forest, hinted that Callum Hudson-Odoi might not play again against West Ham. Despite having an injury, the player trained this week.

On the final day of the summer transfer window, Hudson-Odoi was acquired by the Reds. In his initial appearances, he demonstrated promise, and his cost to the club was less than £5 million.

Nevertheless, the Forest player has been sidelined due to injury, and Hudson-Odoi hasn’t played recently. The player doesn’t seem to be going to be well enough to play again, and Cooper has been questioned about the injury.

Cooper, the Forest manager, says Hudson-Odoi won’t play today.
This week, Hudson-Odoi was observed at Forest’s training. It was therefore expected that he might be well enough to be added to the squad for today’s match against West Ham.

But Cooper seems to have rejected the idea of that. “No fresh injuries, we’ve got a couple of lads who have returned back to training,” he said on the team’s official website.

“At this point, Callum Hudson-Odoi is the only player who did not train today, but not everyone will be ready for the weekend.”

Steve Cooper: Nottingham Forest set to appoint ex-Swansea ...

Forest is hoping for a key player’s quick return.
The fact that Forest’s star player Hudson-Odoi is only 23 years old is astounding. Cooper faces a daunting task in restoring him to his peak performance, as it appears that he has been around for a while.

Hudson-Odoi wouldn’t be a good risk for Forest to take today, even if he was fit. After today’s match, the Reds will have another international break, so they should concentrate on acquiring the player immediately.

On his Forest debut, Hudson-Odoi scored an incredible goal against Burnley. That gave the Reds hope that he can return to the field soon because it showed just how good he is.

The 19-year-old fees Every time Steve Cooper doesn’t choose him, Nottingham Forest

In January, Chelsea may be able to call up Andrey Santos from his loan at Nottingham Forest. During the summer transfer window, the Reds signed the captain of the Brazil Under-23 team on loan from Stamford Bridge.

In addition, some information regarding Forest’s loan agreement with Santos has surfaced. The player only played the final seven minutes of last month’s match against Liverpool in his lone Premier League appearance.

Over the summer, the gifted young player received several offers. However, Chelsea was ready to let him join Forest, and they are now dissatisfied with Santos’s current situation.

Information about Santos to Forest surfaced.
The Mirror claims that Forest approved a deal that requires the team to pay Chelsea a penalty each time Santos is available to play but isn’t used.

The Blues will be disappointed that the player isn’t playing for Forest, but they must be ecstatic that the Reds are topping up their coffers by not playing Santos.

It does seem like a peculiar inclusion for Forest to make. Because of this, it’s possible that the team thought Santos would play a bigger role for the Reds this year.

Big talent at a crossroads for Forest
It appears likely that Santos will return to Chelsea in January, for the benefit of all involved. Since the Reds aren’t using him, letting him return would make room for a domestic loan.

Santos is a talented player, but so far at Forest he hasn’t been able to show it. In his only Carabao Cup appearance, he performed admirably, although he struggled to make an impact in his seven minutes on the field against Liverpool.

January will see minor adjustments made to Forest instead of a significant makeover. That might result in Santos leaving the team, but it would be the best course of action for him in terms of playing time.
