Read the most recent Nottingham Forest news at NottinghamshireLive as Serhou Guirassy talks about potential transfers ahead of the January transfer window.
Serhou Guirassy, who is linked to Nottingham Forest, has stated he won’t close any doors in anticipation of a potential January departure from Stuttgart.
The striker has been linked to a move to the City Ground, but Brentford, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, and West Ham all pose threats to Forest. The Saudi Pro League is also keeping an eye on him in the interim.
The 27-year-old is still drawing attention, so a move in the new year “can’t be ruled out,” according to a previous report from German publication BILD. According to rumors, he may only be available for £17.5 million because of a contract clause.

Forest’s interest predates Guirassy’s rejection of a summer transfer to the City Ground.
The striker gave this explanation for his choice: “We have amazing fans, a great coach, and a good team. As a family, we are very at ease in Stuttgart. That’s the reason I chose to remain at VfB.”
He hasn’t discounted the prospect of making a transfer during the January transfer window, though. “I cannot hide these things – everyone knows the Premier League is one of the most competitive leagues in the world,” Guirassy stated to The Guardian.

A STRIKER ABOVE KANE IN RECORD IS NOT WINNING THE £17 MILLION TOTTENHAM TRANSACTION
With a £17 million release clause in his contract, Serhou Guirassy, the rumored target for Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest, has revealed his love for the Premier League.
Harry Kane scored back-to-back hat-tricks against Darmstadt and Borussia Dortmund to take the lead in the Bundesliga’s Golden Boot race. However, it’s a credit to Serhou Guirassy’s outstanding start to the current season that Kane finally passed him at the top of German football’s goalscoring charts after the Stuttgart star suffered an injury.
Guirassy, who has 14 goals in just eight Bundesliga starts, is reportedly being pursued by West Ham, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Fulham, and a Tottenham Hotspur team that sold the aforementioned Kane to Bayern Munich over the summer (TEAMtalk).
a higher goals-per-game ratio than the £82 million wonder player for Bayern.
Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Serhou Guirassy
Even though he is eager to avoid “closing the door” to other clubs in other leagues, Guirassy has done little to stop the rumors of a possible January transfer across the Atlantic, according to an interview he gave to The Guardian as he prepares to make his comeback from a recent spell on the sidelines.
“I am unable to conceal these things,” Guirassy says. “The Premier League is among the world’s most competitive leagues, as everyone knows. However, I don’t close any doors at this time.
“Europe has some very large teams, and the Premier League is not the only focus.”
According to The Guardian, Guirassy’s contract includes a very reasonable £17 million release clause. As a result, the former Rennes star, who first caught West Ham’s attention while playing in France, will be considerably less expensive than some of the other highly sought-after center forwards in Europe. To mention three, there is Gift Orban, Santiago Gimenez, and Victor Boniface.
