Former Celtics Center Garnering Early Trade Interest

Daniel Theis, a former center for the Boston Celtics, is the target of trade interest early in the season because he isn’t content with his meager playing position with the Indiana Pacers.

Through a deal in 2022 that made Malcolm Brogdon available to the Celtics, Theis, 31, ended up in Indiana. After that, things didn’t get better for the seasoned big man, who was mostly used for defensive possession in Boston.

Theis, on the other hand, appeared in just seven games for the Pacers during the previous season and hasn’t appeared in any games in 2023–24. Taking note of that, the Los Angeles Clippers are said to have surfaced as a potential trade partner for Theis following Mason Plumlee’s injury.

“I’ve heard that Daniel Theis, a big man for the Pacers, is one player they are interested in.”
