Update: Jaylen Waddle, who had been observed jogging on the sidelines, entered the game again after missing about 25% of it.
Jaylen Waddle, the star wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins in 2023, has already had to deal with a few injuries this season, including missing a game due to a concussion.
Even though the Fins’ offence was scoring at a record rate going into their game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night, they desperately need the standout pass catcher to perform better.
Unfortunately, another injury could jeopardise that. With a back ailment, Waddle visited the medical tent on the sidelines during the second quarter of Sunday’s match. As the medical personnel treated him, NBC’s Melissa Stark reported that he could be heard wailing in agony.
In the end, Waddle returned to the changing area. Because of a back injury, his official return status is listed as questionable.
Waddle had caught two passes for 24 yards in the game before he was injured. The Dolphins were trailing 17-3 when he went down. Shortly after, Miami scored a touchdown to increase the lead to 17–10.
With 75 receptions for 1,356 yards and eight touchdowns as a sophomore last season, the 24-year-old Waddle was unquestionably dominant. He has obviously been affected by injuries so far this season.
It is hoped that Waddle’s injury is not a permanent one. He is, along with Tyreek Hill, a major component of the Miami Dolphins offence.
More updates will be given as soon as they…

Jalen Ramsey, the cornerback, is back in the starting lineup on Sunday, but Jevon Holland, the safety, will not play for Miami against the New England Patriots. For the Week 8 game, the Dolphins have ruled out wide receiver River Cracraft and quarterback Holland.
Because of a concussion sustained against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football, Holland missed practise on Wednesday and had limited play on Thursday and Friday. For his second start of the year, fourth-year safety Brandon Jones will take the field.
In response to a question regarding Jones on Friday, coach Mike McDaniel stated, “What I’ve seen growth in him is stopping the lingering.” “He’s going to keep going, and that just inspires people with confidence. I am aware that his teammates are all supporting him. He’s been through a difficult journey, and it’s not finished yet.
He is currently on an ongoing journey to achieve his goal of feeling completely at ease playing our defence at a high level.
The question of whether or not Jalen Ramsey will make his Miami Dolphins debut against the New England Patriots has been unclear all week, but we now have a definitive answer.
Yes, that is.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Dolphins officially activated Ramsey on Saturday, preparing him for his Week 8 debut against the Patriots.
After tearing his meniscus in the summer, Ramsey, whom Miami traded for this offseason, has yet to play in a game this year. The 29-year-old was not activated before the Dolphins’ Week 7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, but he did return to practise on October 18
Since Ramsey admitted on Thursday that he wasn’t sure of his own condition, it was unclear whether or not he would be ready to play by Sunday. It turns out that he was ready for New England in just a few days.
Due to injuries, Tyreek Hill, Raheem Mostert, Jevon Holland, and Cam Smith have all missed practise for the Dolphins this week. All of those payers were marked as dubious on the report at the end of the week. Calvin Anderson, Vederian Lowe, and Josh Uche—a well-liked trade candidate who might have played his final game with New England—will not be available for the Patriots.
