When the Minnesota Vikings visit the Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon, they will want to extend their winning run to three games.

Minnesota (3-4) has just defeated the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers in back-to-back games. Despite the absence of standout wide receiver Justin Jefferson due to a hamstring injury, the Vikings have managed to win those games.

Currently, the topic of discussion is the Vikings’ ascent rather than whether the team would move veteran starters at the trade deadline.

Vikings safety Camryn Bynum, who recorded two interceptions last week, said, “Obviously, our season isn’t going as well as we would like it to be, but nothing better than bouncing back from adversity and stacking wins up.” “As we approach (Sunday), it remains the same: our ability to react effectively.

“That’s actually the season’s main takeaway. We must react to the procedure. Every poor play must be addressed, and we must carry on with our work.”

Green Bay (2-4) is hoping to weather a new storm of hardship in the interim.

For the second time this season, the Packers need to defeat their division opponents at home in order to snap their three-game losing streak and avoid going on a four-game losing streak. The last time Green Bay won, it was on September 24 against the New Orleans Saints, more than a month ago.

Jordan Love, the quarterback, has been under increasing external criticism as the losses have increased. This season, the first-year starter has completed 57.5 percent of his passes for 1,263 yards, 10 touchdowns, and seven interceptions, but his passer rating is only 79.4.

This week, Love’s coach at the Packers, Matt LaFleur, pledged unwavering support.

“He’s done enough for me to show me that it’s all right there,” LaFleur said. “The better everybody is around him, the better he’s going to look.

“Our confidence in him is not wavering one bit.”

Much of the Vikings’ recent confidence has come from the emergence of rookie wideout Jordan Addison, who has formed a fast connection with quarterback Kirk Cousins. Addison caught seven passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns against the 49ers, and he has six touchdown receptions in his first seven games.

If Addison makes another touchdown grab this weekend, he will join only five other players in the Super Bowl era who have caught at least seven touchdown passes in their first eight NFL games. The list includes Charlie Brown, who holds the record with eight touchdowns, and four others who caught seven: Marques Colston (New Orleans, 2006), Martavis Bryant (Pittsburgh, 2014), Calvin Ridley (Atlanta, 2018) and Ja’Marr Chase (Cincinnati, 2021).

Before the Vikings game, Jones has a message for Packers supporters.WATERLOO, WI – The Green Bay Packers will now focus on the Minnesota Vikings in an attempt to bounce back from three straight losses.

Running back Aaron Jones spoke with FOX6’s Lily Zhao one-on-one and had a message for Green and Gold supporters.

Lily Zhao of FOX6: “Aaron, may I inquire how your flight back from Denver went? How critical of a moment is it for this team to stay together and not fall apart right now, in your opinion, after the loss to the Broncos?

“That’s the biggest message that I had in the locker room about sticking together during the times that things aren’t going our way,” said Aaron Jones. “We got to learn how to win every year as a new team, and we’ve been in every game. If you look at last year, Minnesota had nine one-score wins, and we’ve been in those games, and us being in those games early will be better for us in the end. We have four losses and people are already hitting the panic button. There’s no need to hit the panic button.

Right there in front of us is everything. The NFC North is still in front of us. We just need to keep everyone together and focus on achieving our primary goal because everything we want is still out there.”

Lily Zhao of FOX6: “The Vikings and both teams have split this series over the previous three years. Given that the Vikings defence enjoys blitzing, what will the difference be in this game?”

“Just being mindful of your p’s and q’s,” stated Jones. They are planning to bring it from all over. It’s unique. They are delivering guys and dropping guys. They can actually be bringing four guys from different places, so we refer to it as simulated pressure. The key is to maintain proper communication throughout the week.”
