SAD NEWS: Two inportant players set to miss week 8 after aggravating knocks

Running back Raheem Mostert (ankle) and wide receiver Tyreek Hill (hip) of the Dolphins missed practise on Wednesday, and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is anticipated to miss some time.

The most significant development from the initial injury report for the Miami Dolphins Week 8 showdown was Hill’s hip ailment, which forced him to practise on Wednesday.

He is one of four starters who missed the first practise of the week due to an injury, as was previously announced. S Jevon Holland (concussion), FB Alec Ingold (foot), and RB Raheem Mostert (ankle) were all listed as DNPs.

Hill has a hip issue, but it’s unclear if he’ll be ready to play against the Patriots on Sunday. No formal announcement has been made as of yet.

Tua discussed what would happen to the offence in his absence.

“It would be difficult if we couldn’t have Tyreek, but the show must go on.”

At his press conference, Tagovailoa made a statement regarding Hill’s injuries.

It would be difficult if Tyreek couldn’t be with us, but the show must go on. You need to keep playing, and eventually Tyreek will return to the team. It must be one of those situations when you maintain your rhythm as a group or as a team and never take your foot off the throttle.

Since joining the Dolphins during the 2022 summer, Hill has yet to miss a game, and with 902 receiving yards, he now leads the NFL in this category.
