SAD NEWS”Civil War” Between GM and Brian Flores

Although the Miami Dolphins are having a fantastic season this year, just two years ago, the team was in disarray. As former Dolphins linebacker Kyle Van Noy will tell you. Van Noy described the “civil war” that broke out between the team’s general manager and head coach Brian Flores in a recent interview.

During the 2021 season, now fired #Dolphins head coach Brian Flores, told starting QB Tua Tagovailoa that the team should’ve taken Mac Jones in the Draft, according to @mlombardiNFLFormer Miami Dolphins linebacker Kyle Van Noy discusses the team’s civil war.
Mike Lombardi claims that Flores informed Tua Tagovailoa that Mac Jones would have been a better choice for the team. “I believe I was in the middle of a civil war between the GM and head coach,” Van Noy said, echoing the animosity on the team.

There appears to have been a power struggle between Flores and GM Chris Grier over the quarterback position. Although it was obvious that Flores preferred someone else, the general manager chose to go with Tagovailoa, and it appears that this choice was beneficial to the squad. This is merely the most recent drama in Miami related to the Brian Flores era.

It is commonly known that he sued the NFL and the Dolphins for their hiring and firing practises. But given that the Dolphins had committed to Tagovailoa and Flores was obviously unhappy, it appears that he was probably headed out. We witnessed how those teams were impacted by that kind of turmoil. The Dolphins weren’t awful, but they struggled to stay together throughout the whole season, probably as a result of the controversy surrounding the head coach and quarterback dynamic.
