Callum Hudson-Odoi, a winger for Nottingham Forest, will be sidelined for at least six weeks, according to Steve Cooper.
The 22-year-old, who signed with the Reds this summer, had an injury during the international break, which prevented him from playing in the 2-2 draw against Luton Town.
Hudson-Odoi, who joined Cooper’s team from Chelsea, has had a significant impact thus far. Against Burnley, he scored an incredible goal on his debut.
But despite his strong start, he will now be sidelined for a while.

Following the match, the Reds manager revealed to BBC Radio Nottingham that the 22-year-old would be absent for approximately six weeks.
“Divock [Origi] is absent for a few weeks shorter than Callum [Hudson-Odoi], and Taiwo [Awoniyi] isn’t back with us yet. Callum will be missing for at least six weeks.
“We have had a difficult week in terms of injuries, and we don’t have any natural attacking options to pull off the bench.”
Insufficient alternatives for assaulting for Forest
Cooper’s options in the last third are severely restricted due to the injuries sustained by the three forwards for Forest.
The Forest manager’s only options for senior forwards for the next few weeks are Anthony Elanga, Chris Wood, and Morgan Gibbs-White.
In the unlikely event that any of those three join the list of injured players, the Reds could be in a difficult scenario due to their lack of depth.
