Bryan Gil’s availability has pleased Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou, particularly with wingers Ivan Perisic and Manor Solomon out with injuries.
Gil has not been able to establish himself during his time in North London, and it was believed that the club will send him go during the summer transfer window.
The Spaniard had to undergo surgery after suffering an injury this summer though and he has yet to make a competitive appearance under Postecoglou.
Gil was on the bench against Luton Town and the attacker is ready to be called upon by Postecoglou whenever needed.
The Spurs boss is jubilant to get him back fit and stressed the importance of having an option on the left-wing as both Perisic and Solomon are injured.

“He can be really important for us”, Postecoglou when asked about Gil returning to fitness.
“He is one like I said the last couple of weeks it has been great to have him just working really hard at training.
“We lost Perisic and Solomon, who play left wing, and he hasn’t played a minute of this season,” the statement reads.
It’s wonderful for us to have Gil well and available once more.
If Tottenham wins this evening in north London against Fulham, they will take back the top spot in the Premier League standings.
