Before Burnley’s trip to the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday, Brentford manager Thomas Frank believes that Burnley should have received more credit for their efforts this season.
The Bees enter the game having lost their last six league games including their last matchup before the international break, where they lost to Manchester United after conceding twice in stoppage time.
When they play Burnley on Saturday, they will have an opportunity to make amends. In the first few weeks of the new season, the Clarets have had a difficult time adjusting to life back in the Premier League.
Prior to Burnley’s Saturday trip to the Gtech Community Stadium, Thomas Frank, the manager of Brentford, feels that Burnley ought to have gotten more recognition for their efforts this year.
The Bees come into the game having lost their last six league games, including their most recent encounter with Manchester United prior to the international break, in which they were defeated after two stoppage time goals.
They will have a chance to atone when they meet Burnley on Saturday. The Clarets have struggled to get used to life back in the Premier League in the opening few weeks of the new campaign.
This season, Brentford has not won in front of their home crowd; their lone league triumph came in an away 3-0 triumph against Fulham in August.
Frank is happy with their performances despite the fact that they have only managed one victory, but he has urged the Brentford supporters to make a difference this coming weekend.

“Obviously, we would love to win tomorrow in front of our fans,” he continued.
“Both our own and our supporters’ performances must be outstanding. We must continue forward as a team.
