Ivan Toney, a striker for Brentford who has been linked to Chelsea, wants to leave Thomas Frank’s team.
Ivan Toney is “absolutely ready to leave Brentford,” according to Fabrizio Romano’s Substack column, in a possible boost for Chelsea.
The Blues are reportedly interested in the 27-year-old centre-forward, who Romano claims could fetch up to £65 million.
Due to a suspension he is presently serving, Toney hasn’t really played a game for Brentford this season, but he was in excellent form the previous campaign.
The England international scored 21 goals in 35 games for the 2022–23 season.

In 2021, Toney assisted Brentford in gaining promotion to the Premier League. He was successful in scoring 33 goals throughout the 2020–21 Championship season.
Toney has kept Frank’s team in the competition by continuing his goal-scoring prowess in the English top level.
The former Peterborough player may believe that he has achieved all possible while wearing a Brentford jersey, which accounts for his desire to leave the Bees.
