It appears that one player will be leaving West Ham United at the end of the 2023–2024 Premier League season, regardless of where the team finishes.
Since David Moyes’ contract expires at the end of this season and the club is not in a rush to extend it, it is even unclear if he will remain in charge come 2024–2025.
Either way, it looks like 27-year-old Pablo Fornals is set to move on, either returning to Spain in January or the summer of next year.
According to a website called Claret and Hugh, which allegedly has connections to members of the team, Sevilla is reportedly interested in Fornals, but they might not have the money to pay the £10 million transfer price required to get him to a new team before the end of the current campaign.
That would require waiting until the summer, and in the interim, the player would only receive insignificant minutes.
During his tenure at the club, he has gained a lot of support from the supporters, probably never more so than when he scored the game-winning goal against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa Conference League semifinal last season.

Kalvin Phillips has been linked to both West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks.
The Hammers and Spurs are just two of the teams interested in the England international, according to a 90Min story from earlier this week.

He called Phillips a player of “unreal quality” in an interview with the Footballer’s Football Podcast, but he also added that his circumstances are “difficult.”
The rumoured target of Tottenham and West Ham is still having trouble getting into games at the Etihad. This term, he has played just 167 minutes of club football.
Antonio cautioned Phillips against exerting too much pressure on himself in the meantime because “your whole career just goes by” if he keeps trying to break into the first squad.

Our opinion
Such a talented player should not be left on the bench. Phillips should truly think about his future next year because he has the talent to lead the midfield for any Premier League team.
He would be better off going to West Ham or Tottenham. Both teams are growing, and the Hammers are currently playing in Europe.
The £45 million player made the right decision to make the transfer and prove himself at Man City.
When your career is coming to a conclusion, the last thing you want is to reflect on your past and regret not making the big move to the best team in your league when you had the opportunity.
Phillips won’t regret that one thing. It hasn’t quite worked out for him yet, though.
You can only attempt to make the first team for so long before it’s wise to give up in order to avoid wasting any more time on the bench, as Antonio pointed out.
